The A series cylinders can handle up to 150 P.S.I. air and
350 P.S.I. hydraulic. These cylinders have a breakaway pressure around 5-8 P.S.I. Except for the 4" bore, these cylinders use "O"-Ring Seals on
the piston. The 4" bore cylinders use a "U" Cup seal on the piston.
The C series cylinders are
best at 40 P.S.I. air. These cylinders
are great for low breakaway, low pressure applications at around 2-3 P.S.I. These
cylinders use a low friction "U" Cup Seal and wear strip on the piston.
The E series cylinders are excellent for your long stroke
applications. hey can handle 200 P.S.I. air and 500 P.S.I. hydraulic. With
breakaway pressures around 10-15 P.S.I. these cylinders are great for low pressure
hydraulics and side load conditions. These cylinders use two Block-Vee Seals on the
piston, double rod seals in the front head, and a wear strip on the piston to minimize
friction and piston wear. This also prevents metal-to-metal contact on side load
conditions. Five inch bore sizes are also available (call us for details).
Based on these 3 basic
types, Allenair offers several variations such as Double Ended models, Back-to-Back models, Integral Rear Swivels models, Integral Square Head models, Three Position Single Ended and Three Position Double Ended models, and Tandem Single Ended and Tandem Double Ended models.
