SC Series Side Channel Pumps
Corkens new Side Channel pump offers a new
dimension in liquid transfer applications. Specifically designed for high
differential pressures, low NPSH conditions, and aerated liquids up to 50% gas, the Corken
SC series continues to exceed expectations. Utilizing a multistage design of one to
eight open radial vane impellers and an integral centrifugal and side channel design
creates the high differential pressures and self priming capabilities. Placing the
centrifugal impeller near the pump inlet (parallel with the pump shaft) allows the pump to
handle low NPSH applications. The Side Channel pumps also offer a wide variety of
sealing options including packing, mechanical seals, or even Magnetic Drive seal
less
designs. Add to this the wide variety of construction materials available and you
can begin to see the versatility of this great pump.
