American makes it a standard practice to
lubricate their cylinders at the factory prior to shipment. This provides millions
of trouble free cycles as well as easing the installation process by eliminating your need
to do this yourself. Although additional lubrication is not needed for most
applications, you can maximize your cylinders life through periodic direct lubrication or
continuous air line mist lubrication. Check with us for the recommended oil for your
cylinder.
